We’re not camping this weekend

Plans got derailed by an injured dog, so we’re day trippin’ it at home for 4 days before our big camping trip starts after the 4th.
Life is good.

Our summer is all about local day trips and we’re lovin’ it!
It’s so pretty! Day trips are fun for lots of reasons. One of my favorites is that the kids still get to sleep in their beds at night.

Our last camping trip ended a little short. Attalyn got sick so Attalyn and I came home a day early. We were with Kraig’s family who were using lots of our gear so he stayed. We are hoping she is better by Monday so we can go camping again. She seemed better today. Keep your fingers crossed. Where are you going camping?
